Better
After a few days of Mommy TLC and a few nights with his Froggy Humidifier, Isaac is doing much better. No more boogie stream, which is a huge deal for someone that doesn't know they have a nose to blow, let alone how to blow a nose.

The thing that struck me about him being sick was how much Bianca and I wanted to trade with him. It was not even a question. The other thing was even when his breathing sounded like wet cement going through a Shop Vac he was still a very happy kid.

It is nice that he is better and I am so glad we have such a happy boy.

Isaac's Sick
It is the first time the little guy has been under the weather and it is so cute-sad. He has a little bit of a cold with a cough ("he, he...I have the Black Lung, Pop), a runny nose, and a few extra sneezes. Nothing too bad, the nurse did even want us to come in. But last night he got some good solid, STTN sleep thanks a humidifier recommendation from the Baby Wikipedias of Sarah Newhall and Melissa Kowalewski. It is awfully nice to have two people that just had kids around. Hopefully today he will be a little better.

A cure for Monday-itis
By the time Sunday afternoon roles around Isaac Anthony and Dad are really clicking. We have had two whole days to hang out, get reacquainted after the long work week, and we are just in synch with each other. Mom does a great job through the week preparing for the weekend and an even better job during the weekend to let Dad's Isaac battery recharge.

But this Sunday evening Isaac and Dad were playing and Isaac's fun-meter went to 10 and then the little arrow pointing at 10 broke off. What followed was perhaps the most pure joy I have ever seen. Lured in by the commotion Mom grabbed the camera to catch the last few minutes of the fun. Here it is, laughs and squeals and all:

Ever wonder where the phrase "squeal with delight" comes from? Apparently, Isaac Anthony.
