So over the past few years at the Public Defender I have always lost days when we went from one year to another. Sometimes I would take them and just go to work. Other times they would just get eaten up. It was mainly because I am terrible with managing my time off. This year, however, I decided to be better, for obvious reasons.

I have a few days left and I am going to use many of them. To this end, I made a three day weekend starting today. The courts were closed because of furloughs and I worked extra hard to get caught up on my filing, motions, and messages (all of which is done). Day taken. Weekend starts today. Play all day with Chubby Bubby.

As the weekend wound down, Isaac, Mom, and Dad had some serious fun. First, with the discovery that we were running low on milk, we decided to scooch on down to Market Basket on our nightly walk. Here is a picture of Dad and Scooch all bundled up:
