Car Wash and other New Toys
As Isaac's doorstop-shaped hands have gotten more skilled, the range of toys that he can play with has increased. First it was plush toys, like Rattle Dog and Crinkle the Crab (aka Crink). Then it was stationary toys like those on the exersaucer. Now, he has moved up to "hard" toys like Duplos and, as recently as last night, cars (specifically the cars his cousin Aiden sent him from Ohio).

Here he is in the middle of a "car wash":

It was amazing to see how entertained he was by having me make sound effects while crashing the cars into each other. We also busted out some cardboard tubes (like those inside of a roll of wrapping paper) and sent the cars through them, much to Isaac's surprise. Mom was good enough to save them for us.

Finger Foods
So, Isaac thought that since he could eat puffs, he could feed himself. The result was both messy and hilarious. Here are few pictures of the dirty kid:

Note the Puff in his hair in the last picture.

He got pretty darn messy.

Also, we have some new videos up as well including this one, a ruthless interrogation of Isaac by his Mommy (it gets pretty rough, but hang in there, there is a good ending):

Lots of photos and videos uploaded.

First Day of Daycare
Isaac and I had a chat around 7:15 AM yesterday, mano a mano, and we agreed that as the primary members of the Bianca Defense Force, that we have to take care of Mommy on this most sensitive of days. Isaac wanted me to check in with his Mommy every once in a while during the day, so I promised to call her. I told him that in exchange he could not cry when she left. He said okay. We both kept up our ends of the agreement.

Isaac did great. He played with the other kids. He played with their dozens of toys. And he did not cry once. Mom did great too. We spoke throughout the day and it seems like Day 1 was a success. We'll take it one day at a time from here on out, but cross off the worst day.

Bianca, again, is my hero.
