hunting the white whale, except instead of a white whale it is a video of Isaac. Well, finally after crawling all around the house for days, except for when I have a camera, I finally got a snippet of him crawling. Here it is:



YIPEE!!!!

Last night, I came home after my first post-Isaac jury trial (we did well, BTW) and found a little butt scooting cute kid wanting to hang out with his Dad to help end an already good day. Mom is a little under the weather so Dad was juggling to entertain Isaac. We played in the living room for a while, but them he scooted over to me and laid his head down. I think he was aiming for my lap, but it was clear he wanted some stories. And so we got into the Man Chair, grabbed a few books, and went to town.

Also, the gates are up, the locks are in place, and the drawer pulls are ready to be activated. We are ready for Captain Crawl Dad.

A few days ago it seemed like Isaac was on the verge of crawling and then he just stopped, satisfied, it seems with sitting up. Then, two days ago, BOOM crawling. He is now crawling all over the place. Today when Bianca went to pick him up at Goddard School, he crawled over to her. And when the teachers went looking for him there, they found him under the table, which is where all of the fully mobile kids hang out, smoking crayon cigarettes and all.

If I can get a video I will. He just seems to be a bit camera shy.
