Movin' on Up...
Isaac, like the Jeffersons, is moving on up, but instead of going to the East Side, he is going to the First Steps room. He is being reunited with his buddies, Colin, Avery, and Olivia, but it was only a test run for 30 minutes and there is another kid ahead of him in line to go the First Steps room, but still he is getting bigger.

Mom is also in the process of retiring the bottle. Isaac did so well with the pacifier, dumping it after about two months, that we don't want him to hang on to the bottle, especially after Bianca worked so hard to breastfeed. So that too is a sign of change.

Finally, we are starting to puzzle out some of Isaac's words and sounds. He is saying the same sounds pretty consistently and he understands a TON of words, but we aren't quite up to his speed yet. We think he is clearly saying "What's that?" when points, but it comes out like "Wizat."

The only constant is change.

4th of July
With the party on the 3rd, the 4th was entirely a TBI affair. It was exceptionally sunny out so we camped out by the pool. Before that though we went to the Fitchburg 4th of July parade. It was surprisingly hot for 10 AM, and Isaac had to where his hat, which blocked his view, which really pissed him off. Here is shot of him watch the stream of firetrucks:

And here is a picture of him trying to take off the hat, which is what he did most of the morning:

After about 20 minutes we ran out of Ju-juice and had to make a retreat home. It was just unbelieveably hot.

After that we hung out by the pool all day. Here are Isaac and Dad on the Seal Floaty:

Just looks like summertime, doesn't it?

Once we finished with the pool we had dinner and then took a walk. It was still sunny out but not so hot. We took a minute and sat down in the plush green grass of St. Bernard. Here is Isaac crawling around:

All in all, one of the best days ever. Isaac makes everything so fun.

Isaac Working Hard
Well Isaac is pretty mobile now, cruising everywhere, even on walls without ledges. His new found freedom has allowed him to access places that he never could before. I can only imagine that he is saying to himself: "FINALLY, that has been bothering me forever". Take a peek:
