Its coming
The grandparents took enough pictures of the vacation to do a real time photo flip book. Uploading them is a bit of a process so it may be tonight when they are all finally up. There are a ton of really nice shots and many good movies, but we are dealing with gigs of data here, so it might be a while.

In the meantime, a quick story. A coworker of mine who is in a different age group and I were talking about pictures of our kids (his son just got married and he was showing me a picture of his new daughter-in-law). I asked him how many pictures of them does he have from their childhood. He proudly stated hundreds. Well, I think it is not much of an exaggeration that between us and the grandparents we have something like 5,000-7,000 pictures and well over a movie a day for every day Isaac has been alive. I love digital photography.

Walking
First it was 8 steps, then 21 steps, then 37 steps, then 51 steps. I was going to post a counter on the righthand side, but I decided against it, so as not to jinx the little guy. But just when I thought he was doing well enough to post his current record of consecutive steps, he just blew it out of the water. It is official now, he can walk an unlimited distance. The only limitation is how tired he is and if he gets distracted. He is doing well turning as well.

Awesome job CB.

I want some Dad
Yesterday we got food from Panera and I got chicken soup. Isaac had already eaten, or so his Mommy said, but he still wanted some of my food. We regularly share our food with him, but this time we were eating in the living room while he was walking around and playing. He came over and grabbed one of my tomatoes off my salad and crammed it into his mouth. Then, while I was eating soup he just leaned in, his face probably about three inches from my with his little mouth open. Eventually I got the hint and gave him some carrots from the soup. He ate about ten of them and then ate the rest of my tomatoes from my salad. Now that he is walking, can eat pretty much whatever, and can grab things with aplomb, I feel a food snatcher coming on.
