Oui, Oui
Friday night I had to make a late run to the drugstore (late now being somewhere after 8 PM).  It was a surreal experience having not been up and out that late in nearly two years.  Before I went though I was stumbling through the bathroom to make sure we didn't have the medications I was about to run out and get.  I went through the travel kit in the bathroom and when I did I stepped into a puddle of warm-ish yellow water.

Definitely not water.

Every night Isaac and Dad take off his clothes and diaper in his bedroom while Mom preps the bathtub.  Once all of the clothes are off, ever since he has been walking, Dad lets Isaac take a naked stroll to the bathroom from his bedroom.  Well Friday night, apparently with both of us watching, he strolled into the bathroom closet and peed on the floor.

So in the midst of my profanity laced, bleary-eyed run to the drugstore I stepped in pee and it made me laugh my head off.  I told Bianca and she laughed her head off too.  Funny how a little pee from a little guy can make a bad night great.

No paternity test necessary
I have long history of not smiling in pictures.  It goes back to either a picture at Nunni's house when I was told we were going to Santa parade while I was playing in the fireplace or a picture of me standing in and amongst a bunch of tree branches.  Which ever was first, I made it clear--smiling, pictures, and Tony don't necessarily go together.

Isaac apparently has the same attitude.  Check out this picture of all of us back in Ohio that my Dad just sent me.  You may see the resemblance:

Deadliest Zoo
Isaac and Dad hung out on Saturday while Mom graded some tests.  We went to the Cheap Zoo aka the Pet Store, and Isaac, of course, loved it.  We then went to the toy store and Isaac got a toy tiger from Schleich.  When we got home we built a zoo out of duplos.

Then Sunday morning Isaac was being a little fussy, so after breakfast he and I went into the living room and played around for about an hour.  The Duplo guys would drive around in their vehicles and try to corral and wrangle both the tiger and a small dinosaur he got at the barbershop (he did a good job of sharing, so he got a small reward).

Anyway, the Duplo guys are pretty careless and the tiger and dino are vicious so there are a lot of rescues and animal attacks--hence the name Deadliest Zoo.  There is absolutely nothing funnier than watching Isaac make the dino and tiger fight each other.

Here are a few shots.

First, the entrance (just about as sinister as you can get with Duplos and label maker, right?):

And here is a shot of Isaac in the middle of the action (note the tiger being "detained" in the earthmover):

He really has had fun.  It might be time to take it down and build something else, after all, isn't that the beauty of Legos?
