Colby's Birthday Party
Colby Dylan, Isaac's cousin, turned 3 this past weekend and we went down to celebrate.  Isaac loves his cousins and gets along famously with Colby.  He says his name quite well and when we pulled up, Colby ran up to the car and yelled "ISAAC".  Isaac's eyes bugged open and he knew he was in for an extended afternoon of fun.

Here is a shot, that in ten, twenty, and thirty years will be a touchstone of the family's photo memories:

The various scooters and riding toys were a huge hit, both literally and figuratively.  Watch this:

It was a great day and the birthday boy had a very good time.  Isaac came home sticky, sweaty, and tired...all the signs of a good day.

Milk Crate Tower Destruction
Dad has a collection of milk crates, approximately 14 or so, that have been LEGALLY accumulated over the years.  They are really great for all sorts of tasks--carrying stuff, step stools, workshop aids, braces and scaffolds for gluing up large projects.  Really I love milk crates.

But this past weekend, Dad and Isaac had a great idea.  We would gather them all up and build a HUGE milk crate tower and then knock it over.  Here is the milk crate tower:

and here is its spectacular demise:

Isaac and Dad both had so much fun we rebuilt it and knocked it down probably 10 times and the collapse was always accompanied by shouts and screams of delight.

Hewage
Isaac's vocabulary is increasing at an exponential rate.  It is hard to keep track of all the words he knows and he will bust out new ones when you least expect it.  One word that he likes a lot is "Huge", but over time it has morphed into an Isaac invented word: "Hewage."  That is something REALLY "HUGE".  Here is the word in a sentence, in case you need to spell it at a Spelling Bee:
