Isaac On His Own
It was a hot day on Sunday and after most of the day outside Isaac and his tomato face wanted to hang out inside.  Happy to oblige we pumped up the AC, gave him some liquids, and let him do his thing.

In a rare moment in which we are not playing with him or talking to him, Isaac was entertaining himself.  It is really neat to watch him and try to figure out what he thinks he is doing and the logic of his play.  Here is a very rare two minute peek into Isaac's playing, all the while he did not know we were watching him:

Simple Adventure
When you are 2 years old and a Bobcat shows up in a place that you go to almost everyday (that being the track around St. Bernard's), it qualifies as a big deal.  The first time we went for a walk and it was there Isaac got really excited.  He walked around it, peered into the cab, got up close and personal with the tires, and just had a great old time.  Here he is checking the "right steering strut" or something like that (at least that is what he told me he was doing, I have no idea):

When he finished, he stood up and said, "She's good to go." Not really, but instead he said: "Ooooooooh."
