Phew....
Man, it is a whirlwind when you take a new born and add to that a weekend hospital stay.  In Ethan's 10 days of life he has been in the hospital or at the doctor's 7 of those days.  Now that we are home we are starting to get both more comfortable and more tired.  Odd how babies do that.

Here is Ethan Beethan looking all peaceful:

HOME
Ethan was released from the hospital this morning and we are all thrilled to have him home.  Here he is taking a quick cat nap:

Battling with the Bilirubins
Ethan has been readmitted to the hospital with some serious jaundice.  At home only two days, our lil punkin baby needed some phototherapy.

Nanna and P-pa have be life savers.  This is the most stressful thing imaginable (hospital overnight with 4 day old) and thanks to them Bianca and I have been able focus on Ethan and rest soundly knowing Isaac is in great hands.  This is literally the best gift they have given to us.

Isaac has also been a gift.  He has been super great about Mom and Dad being gone and Dad being super sleepy.  If I were writing a script I could not have written a better behaved boy.  He is truly a superstar.

And then there is the Mom/baby combo.  Bianca has again earned her superstar status being a perfect mommy and super consistent milk machine.  Ethan likewise has been an ideal tiny patient.  No fusing or crying.  We should be home some time tomorrow.  Here he is in his bili-box:
