Stubbornest Kid on the Planet
I don't normally publish pictures of Isaac in distress, but this is such a funny story, I thought I would make an exception. Also know that this was not real distress, but more like insistent whining. Here is the picture:
So here is the story.
It was one of the hottest days of the year thus far, around 95 degrees. We were getting ready to leave when Isaac started pointing at the coat stand. I would remove something and he would shake his head no until I got this thick, pull over hoodie sweatshirt. Once there, I took the sweatshirt off the rack and gave it to him. He whined some more. I asked him want he wanted and he tried to pull it on. I told him it was too hot, but he was insistent. So I gave in, thinking it would be a momentary thing until sweat started pouring down his face. Five minutes went by with sweat beading up on his forehead. Then ten minutes. Then fifteen. He was so red faced and sweaty I started to take off the hoodie and he got mad. Then he called in his mom (arm in the photo) and made an appeal of my ruling to her. She was surprised I even let him wear it in the first place. Then I told him that he was going to sweat his brains out if he did not take off the hoodie. That is when I snapped this picture. Eventually he relented but he was so sweaty it looked like he ran a marathon.
What a funny kid.
